This premix should produce a slightly crisp base and a lovely rich passionfruit top. If you cook it a little less the base will be softer.
We intended to include the passionfruit but the price wasn't viable. We hope you are able to source fresh or tin passionfruit. Members of the QLD Coeliac Society used whole tins of passionfruit and condensed milk to make the slice bulkier and eliminate any waste.
Our test cooks also substituted the passionfruit for tin mango and other fruits. All worked exceptionally well. They also used the whole tin of condensed milk and an little extra lemon juice to produce a very rich slice!!!
We have included the fresh lemon juice.
